Claire had a super fun day. She started the day with special birthday pancakes, one shaped like a star and another like the letter 'C.' We spent the morning at Elevated Sportz where Claire played in the balls, went down slides, drove the toy cars, and explored the climbing structure to her heart's content. After a nap at home, she spent some time with Shizuku and her friends - eating ice cream, opening her present of a bubble blower, and playing with her new toy and friends outside. Claire also got to Skype with Grandma and Grandpa. When Daddy got back from his bike ride, we went with Melissa to McDonald's for a Happy Meal. We came back and Claire opened the rest of her presents. From Mommy and Daddy she got a new painting book, magnetic doodle pad, kids' atlas, and puzzles. Oma and Opa got Claire a broom and dustpan just her size and a basketball hoop. To finish off the day, we all wore fiesta hats, sang Happy Birthday to Claire, and ate cupcakes. Claire blew out her candles on the first try!
